Lifter Tick?

2025 1500 ZR2 with 3.0L Duramax 18k miles. Engine sounds great at idle. Starts to tick while moving. When I stop at a stop light, the tick goes away. If I jump on the interstate for a few miles the tick generally goes away when I am back in town at normal speeds. Could this be lifter tick? It's hard to tell where the tick is coming from engine bay somewhere it seems like. I tried to take an audio recording, it's pretty quiet on the recording but can be heard if you turn the volume up. Maybe a can of seafoam would clear this up? Anything ideas on what tolerances to check?

Thanks!

I'm seeing more 3.0L motor failures on YouTube and Reddit lately. I think you may want to check those out. I heard some guys were getting that noise and changed oil brand and viscosity and it stopped. I don't recall any details, but might be worth a try.

Otherwise gonna need a dealer and warranty work.

Haven’t heard a tick since I got rid of my Ram, but I’ll keep an ear out on my babymax and report.

I had a rattle/ vibration like noise coming from passenger dash area. SA said it was heat shield related, SA also said he a has seen some bad exhaust clamps and a couple leaking manifolds lately. Here's a pic of paperwork of the fix.
