OTA feature update

I didn't get this OTA update yet, but i did get an update for my Google system which makes everything in the truck Voice Activated. It is also quite nice.

I don’t think mine ever has. I’ve had it since December. A 24 as well
I was out on Saturday and it popped up. My wife hit to update fast. I was like NOOOOO. lol now my check your back seat and all the things I had turned off are back on.

Completely worthless. Why would I want the HVAC blower on with the windows down?
I live in Florida....It's habit for me to crack all the windows when i turn on the A/C, so the hot air has somewhere to go. Run it for 5mins, then close it up. I also know people who have verts, or even sunroofs....They like fresh country air but don't like boiling, so they drop the windows and open the sunroof and slider(or drop the top), while running the A/C. Not for me, but it's done all the time here.

This 'feature' doesn't seem to make a lot of sense...

Without the engine running and the AC compressor active, blowing hot air out of the vents seems like a minimal benefit at best, why not just remote start and let the AC work for a few before jumping in? Now, if I can remote start it and then roll down the windows to let the AC blow the hot air out that might be different.

Either way my 24 doesn't have the update available yet anyway, says I am up to date.

Made me think. What happens if you FOB unlock and put all windows down then request a remote start. Guessing it wouldn’t start cause windows are down. Have to try and see.

I hadn't even thought of that, but I tried it and it works like a charm! Double unlock, windows down, lock, auto start, vroom with AC and seat ventilation on! Awesome with no update needed.

There you go applying common sense again. 😂

I can’t even get the windows to go down.
It’s probably turned off in the menus, some people don’t want the feature for fear they will roll down the windows by accident if the key fob is pressed in their pocket, or in the pouring rain. I have the feature enabled since it takes a press unlock sequence followed by a press and hold unlock sequence to get it to work, if that isn’t working for you then the feature is disabled in the menu.

It is enabled in the menu but never worked. I will have the dealer look at it when they replace the video processing module for the intermittent camera issues.
