Have not checked in my 2025 yet. They removed that feature from the app. Surprised as I thought GM paused OTA updates. How about some fixes as well.

They are trying to accomplish 2 things, one is they start to evacuate the hot air out of the A/C vents and get the cooling of the air started as the compressor runs, and two the fan is starting to push some of the hot air out of the cabin since the windows are down.Completely worthless. Why would I want the HVAC blower on with the windows down?

I had the same opinion, but did the software update anyway. The following response makes the update sound desirable for some owners. I have that feature disabled, because the weather changes every 20 minutes here in Tennessee (especially during the current storm season).Completely worthless. Why would I want the HVAC blower on with the windows down?
I was out on Saturday and it popped up. My wife hit to update fast. I was like NOOOOO. lol now my check your back seat and all the things I had turned off are back on.I don’t think mine ever has. I’ve had it since December. A 24 as well
I live in Florida....It's habit for me to crack all the windows when i turn on the A/C, so the hot air has somewhere to go. Run it for 5mins, then close it up. I also know people who have verts, or even sunroofs....They like fresh country air but don't like boiling, so they drop the windows and open the sunroof and slider(or drop the top), while running the A/C. Not for me, but it's done all the time here.Completely worthless. Why would I want the HVAC blower on with the windows down?
