Skid plates for diesels

For those curious I figured this would be a good post for you to watch.

I have been in talks with a couple garages regarding getting some skid plates for my 2024 1500 ZR2 with the duramax.
Up until this point only skids for the 5.3 and 6.2 were available.

Well Talons garage hit me up today saying a set was ready.
They're still in the test phase- so there's a chance of fitment issues despite current testing to date.
However I'm pretty confident they'll fit, so I ordered them.
note- I don't think they're available for order yet.
I'll be providing them with notes once I've got them in hand.


I'll reply to this thread with photos, information and initial opinions once they've arrived and are fitted.

Not long now- will fit this weekend and post the results

Now I just need frame mounted rock sliders and a spotlight light mount for the front end

So as per the photos above- finally got the time to fit the skid plates. They fit up perfectly!
So if you need skid plates for the LZ0 or LM2 zr2 - hit up talons garage.

Super impressed with the quality and fit!
