Talked to the local communications cooperative. They got a system that can run off repeaters and in some areas they have seen distances of 5 miles for their cameras. I've got a fiber line about 1/4 mile from my main shop building so I can get high speed internet and sites at 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 mile from that location. I think a repeater at the 1/2 mile mark would get me covered.
