Stuck in Off Road Mode

Down in the OBX for a few weeks. When i drive on the beach, I use 4WH, Off Road Mode, and shut off traction control. Today, when returning to the main road, I put the truck back in 2WD but I'm stuck in "off road" mode. Has anyone had this issue? I assume it's okay to drive on the pavement as long as I'm in 2WD?

You may need to put it in 2WD without adjusting the "mode". Could be stuck, mine sometimes makes me go into 4WD before I can switch to off-road

Should be fine to highway drive in that mode, it simply changes a bit of the tuning dynamics - I don’t know for sure but I would assume things like reduced torque management (may feel a bit more responsive), allows for easier wheel spin (less nanny control), etc - won’t do any “damage” though.
