With me not wanting to roll the dice on the "new engine or 0-40 and an oil cap" I traded her in on a 25 Black High Country midnight edition with a 6.2 loaded with everything but supercruise. Really nice truck on the interstate which is where we will be spending more time now. I'll miss the Zr2 but I'm digging the HC.

I LOVE my loaded 2500HD High Country Midnight Edition. Not sure the 25 motors are truly "fixed". For me, I wouldn't have gotten another 6.2. I would have opted for the Diesel 3.0 or stepped up to a 2500HD with the 6.6 gasser.

So are the seats more comfortable and trim a little nicer in your HC truck? I feel like they are better in my wife's Tahoe

I love the 6.2 and the sounds it makes among other aspects. I was going to go HD diesel but the fact it won’t fit in my garage is a no go for me. I tried to convince myself I didn’t care but in the end I could not do it. Love the HC trim. Time will tell on the 25 6.2 I’m going to believe they fixed the issue. I will also change oil early on this one.

Yes they are. My wife and I both commented on the seats being more comfortable on our 4 hour ride home.

For those in FL it worth the drive to Daytona Beach. Ask for Brandon at Jon Hall Chev. Above and beyond is an understatement and they beat every other dealer I spoke to by thousands.

I took my backflip cover off to transfer to new truck not remembering I had to take the rails off. Stupid move on my part. Brandon noticed my mistake and transferred the rails from old truck to new truck without hesitation. Great experience during an experience I normally despise.

My buddy is the GM at the largest Chevy dealer in N. FL in Jacksonville. I've had several friends and neighbors get deals from him that no one else's could touch. Happy you got a great deal and loving the truck. Call me on the next one and let me see what my buddy can do for you.

Would love a 2500 6.6 Duramax but cant afford to trade it in being upside down. Not to mention that I am sure the value dropped from the wreck on top of it.

I surely hope you're not referencing Beaver Chevrolet, because those scam artists are the scumbags of the Auto industry.
Not Beaver. They are scum and thieves. I had a verbal altercation with the sales manager there about 3 years ago regarding their tactics and bilking people out a ton of money. Very sad bunch there.

Here it is! Pretty plain jane compared to the Zr2 but really liking the interior appointments and the way it drives! Window tint getting done tomorrow! This is the only pic I've taken since it's been raining here. Also happy to be Back in Black! Chrome lug nut gotta go!

When trying to buy my ZR2 in October, this is the 2nd deal that they wrote me.... "Market Value"....WTF would pay that? So, they discounted it to sticker, then tacked on all the BS fees.
The original deal had what was called a "Peace of Mind package", which was $1995. They told me it wasn't optional and when I told them they couldn't legally do that, they took it off and wrote what you see below.

F*** those clowns...Why would anyone do business there?
