What have you done to your Silverado ZR2 this week? 🛠️

I really like the J&L oil separator. I’ve been running one for quite some time now. I do recommend putting clamps on the hoses at all the connection points. As the temps under the hood rise, the hoses can become a little loose. Probably not enough to come off, but maybe enough to cause a leak. I bought a box of black worm clamps from Amazon. I installed them with the drive part on the bottom of the hose so they are hardly noticeable.
Love my J&L and 100% agree on putting hose clamps on the lines. I get an ounce every 1500-2000 miles.

Installed the Cognito Ball Joint Upper Control Arms and Peak leveling kit. As @Stevebag383 had started about a similar setup, it’s dead level now.

I chose this Cognito UCA kit because I plan on running the stock wheels and tires for a bit; and Cognito does not recommend their other UCA kits with stock wheels and tires.

Very happy with the results.

Have you noticed any hissing with the hoses? That seems to be a common complaint.
Yes, you do have a hissing sound under the hood if you listen closely. It's really not that bad and once you close the hood you don't hear it. I spoke to J&L and they said that's the vacuum rushing through the longer hoses and not a leak. I've seen folks run some HVAC armaflex pipe insulation and that does quiet it down. I'm not picky so it doesn't bother me.

nice rig!
Thanks. (y)

You carrying your sidearm today?

Fortunately, I don't live in Albuquerque or Bernallilo county, so it's still legal for me to be armed. I don't want to derail this thread too much, but I've made my feelings known to my local State Representative and Senator. I would be surprised if that EO lasts 30 days. I've already seen calls to impeach her, the next few weeks are going to be interesting.

New ATAK muffler and exhaust tips. Love the low rumble now. The black turn down tips were pretty hard to find, but I got them on Ebay which I typically steer clear of.

Traded the 22 ZR2 for a 23 ZR2. Had to remove the exhaust, cold air kit, sub box and tonneau cover. Got tint done today, weekend is going to be busy installing all the parts and ceramic coating it.

Curious why you jumped from a 22 to a 23 and didn't wait for the 24?
