What have you done to your Silverado ZR2 this week? 🛠️

Ronin antenna and LasFit reverse bulbs. Boring but necessary.

That may cause a little more damage maybe?? Depending on the size of the post... its just one letter (an inch or 2 wide) and the streak is going straight up... and No damage below the letter... guess its possible.

Maybe trying to change the old chrome letters to cooler black ones and while trying to remove them slipped with the Razor Knife? IDK...

This was my fault 101% got in a hurry as the alert came in on my phone that a Severe Dust Storm Warning was issued by the NWS to expect 0 visibility with wind gusts to 70mph. Yes, it did hit and even caused power outages in the area snapping power poles etc.

This camera shows how it happened and the wind was already blowing at 40 with gusts to 50. My back up cameras len's was covered in dust and I was not being smart trying to get close. The bottom of one of the tubes caused this. 🤬

Sorry buddy. At least it isn't too bad. Sure they will make it look like new again.
Yes stopped by the body shop at my dealer to drop off my Colorado Bison to fix a fiber optic cable and connector that Car Toys broke off during a upgrade to the sound system (interesting that they can repair it as the service dept said that GM does not sell the short fiber optic cable because it is wired into the main harness and connector that plugs into the module is not sold as a discrete component) and the body shop said no problem they use an outside contractor that specializes in this and it is an easy fix when you have the tools and the ability to obtain the GM specked connector which is not sold. The big ZRR2 is out of the body repair and in paint. With any luck will get it Friday!! (y)

Did they have to replace the tailgate also? Or were they able to fix the small dent that is right on the bend in the sheet metal? A lot of times, if it is creased on a bend bad enough, they will replace the whole part other than repairing it. That's what they did with my wife's SUV. They replaced the entire rear liftgate.

Well in this case they were able to get it out. It not as I posted above it would not be 1400 but many thousands of dollars. Will post a pic when I get it back.

Drove a buddy down to FL to check out a boat and bring it home. First time hauling anything with it. Smooth as can be and loving the trailering features.

Also had my first (and second) Buccee’s experience. Had a big time.
