What have you done to your Silverado ZR2 this week? 🛠️

UPS decided to be like FedEx and delay mine. It was supposed to be here today. Now it says tomorrow. Tomorrow it will probably say delayed due to weather since the hurricane hits this afternoon.
Yeah mine said the label was created but they had not received the product yet for like 3 days

Put on a Diamondback SE bed cover. Really love it. Strong, can hold hundreds of pounds on top when needed, and has strong water resistance.

I had one on my Gladiator and it was my favorite mod.

Today I installed the Kicker sub. It sounds a whole lot better now. I flipped up all the dip switches. The control knob wont be here til possibly tomorrow. I am not sure Ill even need the knob though as it sounds pretty damn good without it.

Tomorrow....all around tint :D
That kicker setup from GM is underrated. I had it in my trail boss and my high country. I planned on getting that but I’ve decided to with the JL Stealth Box with 2- 12in subs.

Even though I am thinking of getting different tires, I went ahead and made sure balancing was good, rotated and checked alignment. This is the before and after. Alignment wasnt too far out to begin with. Granted now it has a drift to the left since the alignment.

Most places have a warranty on alignments. May want to have them tweak it.

I did take it back and they put it back in and checked it again and it still came up within spec. They said maybe a tire so I swapped left and right before picking up my son from work. No change after doing that. Wondering if my steering is just touchy and I didn’t notice it til after the alignment when I was looking for anything to be wrong lol

Doing an alignment is a bit of an art form, partly following specs and partly feel for the equipment. I've had a couple of shitty alignments that had to be fixed by someone else. If there is a shop with a technician that will drive it and adjust it based upon how it's driving, that's the best you can get. Most don't even test drive it. Maybe there's worn or damaged parts.

Hyperdiped all my badges, added the anti-glare vinyl to the hood buldge, and some shackles. Idk why it didn't come like this from the factory.

So I finally decided on which type of hitch slider and went with the 3 in 1.
Slider, step, recovery point.
Added some badging to make it pop.
The wife wanted the step since I lock the multi flex gate to avoid dents.
Also got a flag for running the sand dunes (It's required by law here)
My local Facebook off-road group, S.N.O.T (Southern Nevada off-road trailing) and our local TREAD LIGHTLY group participated in the National public lands clean up month event at the Nellis Dunes recreational area. Our group does a several different ones every year with the BLM and the National public lands management.
It's a good time, with good people, for a great cause! 👍
There was about 10 of us, along with the local boy scouts and a few different churches. In just 4 hours we filled six 30 yrd rolloff dumpsters. That is the sad part!!!
It's sad and makes me angry how rude and stupid some people are! 🤬
Pack it in... Pack it out!
(Those nails are laying on a 8'x4' OSB Board which was also left behind
