What have you done to your Silverado ZR2 this week? 🛠️

replaced my go rhino running boards with boost auto power running boards. Opted for the ones without the lights, don’t like the look of the running lights and all that… simple & clean!

They look great I just put a set of AMP Research Powerstep Extremes on mine. Best $$$ I have spent so far. So much easier to step up into my truck and sit down. No more hang on and slide over.

Warranty work done today. Seat frame replaced, trim replaced, idler pulley replaced and serpentine belt replaced. Funny enough, the truck has had this metallic cold start sound since I bought it. Looked up on the internet and find a lot of folks say this happens and GM says it's normal. Apparently, the idler pulley was causing that noise and then wore out the belt to create a second one. Glad it got done though.

They almost were going to flash my ECU without telling/asking. I happen to read it today on a secondary document they put online. Called my SA and asked him not to do it. Had to explain the disabler was there and it is possible it caused bad flashes for others. He was like got it and told the tech not to do it. He said it was a recall but there are no recalls listed against my truck. What does the ECU flash accomplish?
