What’s the chance/percentage, do us Chevy/GM 6.2L V8 owners, affected by the massive recall, think that some of our trucks would live a long, healthy life without any of the problems affecting our truck? The optimist in me, is always thinking mine will be ok, lol. I have a ‘23 ZR2 with just under 24k and runs like a charm so far, knock on wood, lol. I wasn’t that lucky though when I had my 2020 Trail Boss, as the lifter snapped in half at 32k miles.

Maybe your bad luck is gone, after the problems with your Trail Boss. I secretly feel the same way. My 22 ZR2 runs great at the moment with 21k miles. Hopefully my bad luck is gone already also. I had a 2015 Silverado 1500 LT Z71 with the 5.3L V8 that had the motor replaced cause it dropped a lifter from the stupid DFM system. Now a catastrophic motor problem can't happen to my ZR2. It can't possibly happen twice, right? Lol !!!

ANY? Slim chance. When people on forums bitch about a problem, I usually dismiss it as an anomaly that's making a lot of noise. However, when the Guberment gets involved, it's not noise...Your roll of the dice just got more likely to hit. Look up the number of service bulletins on that thing...Odds aren't in your favor, sad to say.
