Well, here is mine. 23.3 mpg 50 mile average. Not too bad for a big off road truck!

Just got back from a trip to Utah. Drove the ZR2 from San Antonio, TX and back for a backpacking/fishing excursion. My best 50 mile stretch was between Provo and Price @ 26 MPG. I’ll get a pic of that, but for now I’ll post a pic of the overall numbers from the trip…..

Wow! That's really good.

lol my best is like 16mpgeven on a flat 800mi round trip. The speed limits around here get up to 85 so thats probably a factor.

I will play.

Not sure of my best 50, but in general my hand math results in a 1 - 1.5 MPG lower than the truck computer tells me I did. Seems like that's the case for most vehicles I have owned. Computer typically says I get in the low 16 mpgs per tank of gas, but the hand math is generally 14.8-15.2.

Best she’s got. But I rarely drive under 60mph anywhere. (Semi rural area)

Truck is completely stock powertrain wise.

Anything above 55 and the MPG is a steady decline. 70 is 17, 75 is 16, 80 is 15, and 85 is 14. In the pancake state (Florida)

My real world average is 14.5-15 consistently

Does having the transmission in auto vs 2wd effect it? For some reason, auto was good for about a 3 mpg drop in my TB.

Honestly I don’t know. I just filled up the tank yesterday so it’s a good time to test it. I’ll drive in 2wd for the week and find out.

Edit: it does seem that auto keeps the front differential engaged all the time. So that seems to a no brainer to increase mileage. If it’s an actual 3mpg like you suggest, that’s a casual 20% uplift in my 14.6 450 average.

I appreciate that insight.

First 100 miles, averaging 14.1 lol. last 50 has been 14.7. I went from a 5.3 to the 6.2 so I had to get on it a few times...

Edit: Avg about 16 now after around 400 miles

Y’all running 87 or 93 octane? Have you tried different grades to see if it makes a difference?
