Your favorite cover songs, time to share

Another one of my favorite covers, Big Head Todd and The Monsters version of John Lee Hooker's "Boom Boom". Although not a full true cover since he did lend his vocals and some guitar action to the song, I still think is needs to be in this thread. It was always said that John Lee Hooker never performed any song the same way twice, how he felt is how it came out.

I liked that. Good pick

I heard this gem by Queen today! Originally by the King, Elvis Presley!

Excellent choice, just couldn't watch the video. Freddie Mercury is hard to watch. Great song though!

Thinking of the King, Elvis Presley, made me recall this Dwight Yoakam cover of Suspicious Minds. This is a great song and I think the uniqueness in both Elvis' and Dwight's voices would make a great duet!

I have always loved Wild Thing by good ole Sam Kinison.

Sam had some great performances! It would be great to see him running those jokes out today. He'd get crucified by the woke mob, but it would be even funnier to watch them melt down........oh, oh!!!

Yeah he wouldn’t apologize and would make fun of them too. I believe Redd Fox and Richard Pryor would have too. Sadly Eddie Murphy broke and apologized lol

Been a little sleepy round here and I feel like the lady rockers are under represented. I'm gonna throw out this Joan Jett cover of ACDC Dirty Deeds and while its hard to beat ACDC, I think JJ hit a home run here. She's damn sexy with that guitar, leather and sultry voice.....enjoy!

Since we're here again and Joan Jett is so fucking awesome. I'm gonna drop this Crimson and Clover cover originally by Tommy James and the Shondells. Who'd a thunk punk rock Joan could bring this song into the 80s better than the original!
