ZR2 Storage Hack: How about truck bed rail system?

Hey y’all,
So I’ve been lurking on these overlanding threads and recently found something that’s got me eyeing my truck’s messy cargo area… A basic modular rack system (attached below). It claims to let you add straps, hooks, tool organizers… basically build a custom storage setup over time. But as a newbie, I’m stuck on a few questions:

·Durability Test: Has anyone used these basic rails on rough terrain?

·No-Weld Setup: It says you can mount it without drilling? My garage tools are beginner-level (screwdrivers, a drill, and hope). Any tips on DIY-friendly installation?

·First Add-Ons: If I start with the rails, what’s the must-have accessory to prioritize?

I’m interested in this product mainly because it is designed specifically for Silverado. The key reason is that I don’t need to drill any holes or make modifications, which seems super convenient. Has anyone else bought this yet? Please share your experience! Appreciate it.

Looks like a nice system. The extra tie down points are really convenient and I like that cargo bar option. I use a cargo bar from Harbor Freight in my trucks and they are nice. The only issue with this one would be a fixed height, but the one I use can be set at different heights.

Something I really like about this track is how they sell retractable ratchet straps and other accessories to go with it.
Any trunk organization tips? Trying to stop stuff from rolling around everywhere!

If you want more bed storage ideas, check out this customizable storage i came up with. I've been really happywith this setup and it has proven to be functional, reliable, and durable for about 25k miles in a lot of conditions. It really needs a tonneau cover to be secured, but they are easily added or removed for overlanding or carry cargo.
