is anyone installed cold air intake for 2024?
I need to know is any change for oem exhaust sound especially with sport mode

Thanks AXE
I really try to search for any videos 2024 with air intake I couldn't find it,
Do you know which one is better k&n or AFE ?
I like AEM or AFE and they have better dry flow filters for longevity and easy maintenance. I dont have one on my ZR2, but there are some guys running them. I run a Magnaflow exhaust on mine and I like the way it sounds and didn't think the extra intake noise would matter to me.

You might pick up a couple HP, but it won't be that noticeable on a 425 HP motor. Have not seen any before and after dyno work on the intakes, so don't expect any huge gains.

Im not looking for intake noise im looking for little bit extra noise from oem exhaust when I make it in sport mode that my Purpose,

It will do NOTHING to amplify exhaust noise - if anything it could be an overall "negative" due to a new distracting sound from under the hood. Factory air intakes are typically quite good anymore and gains from aftermarket without other modifications are minimal to nonexistent.

At least two things I like about the K&N:

1. Open box (direct access to airflow)

2. Less air filter replacements (cost savings)
The OEM box is just fine. I would install the Airaid Jr. kit with a dry free flow filter and call it a day. Leaves sensor in the stock position and there is zero wrong with the airbox. If anyone goes K&N, do NOT get an oiled filter...they are terrible and cause problems.

Hopefully you did a dry filter versus a wet filter.
The primary issue people have with oiled filters is over oiling. The excess oil is pulled in to the intake tract and gums up the mass air flow sensor and throttle body. This throws codes and causes performance issues.

I have been running an AEM on my previous Duramax for 11 years now. My boynis still driving it and that synthetic filter still looks and performs great. I cleaned it every 5000 miles. Always had plenty of dust trapped in it. Don't blow it out, rinse it out from the clean side. Then hit it with warm water and mild soap.

Good data Axe, that’s what folks need to hear. My K&N came pre-oiled and the maintenance recommendation is 100K. Had the same setup on my LTZ, no issues.

Thanks
Rick

It still lets more "stuff" thru than a dry filter and not worth the risk IMPO. I use oiled filters when I was much younger and haven't now for over 25 years. Just my 2 cents and everyone will do as they will which is fine with me...not my truck.
