Thanks, guys. After doing a little research, I found this problem with the O2 sensors in the L8T engine. Sure enough, I looked at the sensor before the Cat converter on the driver's side, and it was melted all the way into the 3 damaged wires. Looks like a pretty easy fix with a special tool to remove and a $60 part, but I will take it to the dealer since it's still under warranty. Crazy, they knew of this problem for years and couldn't just zip tie the wiring harness of the O2 sensor to keep it away from the heat. The 25-cent zip tie could have avoided all this.Talk to service advisor and see what they say. I'd run it in either way. Even if they deny warranty you might be able to negotiate a better price. It shouldn't be expensive unless a lot not diagnostic time.
