Ok.
going to put some new wheels (9&3) on the 2500 hd zr2 diesel. going with the new Nitto Terra Grappler G3. They have it available now in a 37 in both the 17 and 18. I plan on a 9” wide and had though a 0 offset. I saw a pic of a -12 and its out to far for me. I know most of the aftermarket wheels in an 18x9 run a +18. I have confirmed with 9&3 that their 17” will fit.
Just trying to decide which way to go. Its an overlaning build and I don’t tow with it (well, nothing heavy). So the added sidewall of a 17” wheel will be a better ride, but i worry about that extra sidwall effecting handling in corners and more movement. That and over time the sidewall “breaking down” before the tread wears, again effecting handling. Ive had that happen on some tires on my raptor on 37s, and this is a heaver truck.
what are youre thoughts on wheels size and offset?
anyone have any good pics of how much poke a 0 offset will have?
