Aftermarket exhaust or leave active exhaust

I have a 2026 ZR2 6.2. I know it has active exhaust and in sport mode sounds good but what do you think about AWE catback exhaust or Borla? I have the module that plugs in to the exhaust flap that keeps the valve open so that I get sport exhaust sound while in normal mode but still thinking about upgrading. Thoughts ?

Only one proven to sound good on a truck is the Magnaflow. All the others are loud and sound like they belong on a Camaro. You'll thank me later for saving you $1500 and the aggravation.

I don't think my Corsa sounded like a Camaro at all. I love Magnaflow but Corsa makes an excellent exhaust. This was my third Corsa on a truck.

If someone gave me a Corsa, I'd trade it for 3 Magnaflows. Then trade the two Magnaflows for a couple of hunting dogs and some shotgun shells.

It's a specific system for the ZR2. It has an extra resonator to prevent drone. I have a thread posted about it, as well as some sound clips.

Just remember all these fags running Borla, Corsas, AWE and such haven't used the paddles, nor have they broken 2k rpms......but they all got ceramic fucking coatings and puddle lights and headrests with a ZR2 emblem.

These same MFers are about to get in this thread now!

Might have to go with a Corsa and some ceramic coating.

I’d stick with the stock. The sound in sport is perfect imo. Then I can make it quiet when I want to. Best of both worlds.

Thats the primary reason I like the Magnaflow. Its not loud unless you flex it. Then its gotta a nice deep tone, not raspy.

On that active exhaust does the valve come off with the can for a catback?

The truck sounds great by removing the muffler and replacing it with a straight pipe for $100. But the knock on that's the drone while cruising. Butbut damn sure sounds good.

The sound clips are in this thread. Listen to them on a separate speaker or it doesn't do any good. Ive got another one somewhere. I think it sounds better after some miles when the packing in the can settles out.
