What all did you have to trim?

Front bumper was rubbing so had to trim that

35’s run a lot depending on offset. I have 17x8.5” with -12 offset and have done extensive trimming. Will do a full write up soon. Sneak peek.

Nicky Thompson Baja Boss A/T 295/70R18. Zero road noise, great ride and long wearing at 34.5”. Unless you absolutely, positively need 35’s for that “I’ve got 35’s” need for macho feel. You can go to my area on here for pics.

I've had two sets now, excellent tire for my needs, no road noise so far but will probably have some when the miles are put on. Love the off-road capabilities, 35's are nice and soft before the rubbing lol

I have the same Mickey Thompson's on my 23 and I love them, see the thread linked below. I put the Peak 2.25 kit on mine and Method 305s with zero offset. Had to do some trimming to get them to fit. You can do the same trims yourself using Axe's post (referenced in the thread).

Definitely don't be afraid to trim, its not difficult, just have a plan and take your time.

Very nice. I’m running same exact wheel & tire setup, except w/ 1.5” leveling kit. I’m rubbing a tad in rear and on front bumper end, more so on passenger side. Looks like that additional height makes a difference. It’s a game of millimeters. Pushing out bumper 1/4-3/8” will probably be enough. Not sure I want to cut metal.

Any chance you traded this truck into the NSB Chevy dealership? I bought it there with these exact rims, tires, running boards, and UCA’s.

Hello, I have the same style and will be installing the 35X12.5 on stock 18 wheels. Did you get any rubbing? If yes how did you fix it? I also have 1.5” spacer not sure if you do. Any advise will be helpful

Spacers and 0 or - offset wheels are the primary contributor to rubbing. It pushes the wheel face outwards and it gets closer to the rear of the wheel well and bumper when turning and therefore rubs.....the bigger tires just rub more.........start cutting now and you'll be ready.
