I mean I wasn't trying to be negative, im rooting for you guys. I think you should get a whole new truck if the engine blows before 36k. Not a reman engine. But that ain't what happens either, lol. My brother-n-law bought a 24 AT4X with a 6.2 last year right after I got rid of my 1500 ZR2. (I tried my best to talk him out of it,

I just think it will be a oil change for most and a rematurfactered engine when an if it blows under the extended warranty. Average person only drives 12k per year. Just a glance on here and Facebook shows a lot of these trucks get driven much less. I'm sure GM is hoping they trickle in over the next 10 years and maybe a lot of them will make it out of warranty before they go.
