I was doing a quick search for some ZR2 info. These local ZR2 ads came up. The Sands dealership is where I bought mine. I love their ad for $91k, I thought maybe it included a couple YZ450F MX bikes.

I should sell mine if they are going for those prices. Makes me feel real good about the price I paid.......LOL

they must be holding on to pandemic market adjustment.

Regarding that first picture, My mother actually just traded her California Special for a Mach 1, it’s absolutely nuts that charging MSRP is a “Killer Deal” in the dealership world nowadays.

Sales got drunk off the massive profit margins during the scamdemic. I know guys who pulled 200k selling cars during that time.

I’m also glad I bought my truck when I did. I’m a year in with 11k miles I could trade it and make money.

Absolutely nuts.

Scamdemic. Stop drinking the Orange Kool Aid!

What is interesting is when I bought mine in February, the lots were getting pretty full with trucks. One of the bigger truck dealers must have had 300 trucks. I drove past it a couple weeks ago and there were significantly less trucks. So I guess people are still buying like crazy. They may continue to get these higher prices if supply is tighter, which is there objective.

I pulled up next to one of those high dollar electric Hummers on Saturday. I'm guessing that was well above MSRP.

The 91K is nuts, though the 82K is possible with some dealer installed options. But the 77K is easy to hit with the right options. My sticker price was 79,150.

I noticed it says "Retail Price" is 91K, but their price is 77K. I wouldn't be surprised if they do that to make it look like they're giving a good deal. Like, this goes for 91K somewhere else, but WE only charge 77K. Nevermind that the one we found for 91 was last year in Hawaii. LOL

Take the political BS somewhere else...

I actually took the scamdemic more directed at the pricing scams that were abundant during the pandemic...
I appreciate you reading what I wrote in regard to the topic at hand and not getting butt hurt over the Oval Office.

That’s EXACTLY what I meant.

Dealers do honestly believe that now.

Sales are paid on a percentage of gross profit of the deal. If you personally make money on price gouging you will absolutely break the dealer model.

The only exception I know of is the Raptor. Commission is capped at 5k PER UNIT.

The only thing mine did not have was the rock sliders. Other than that, mine is loaded with every option you can get.
I had it ceramic coated and I have a 5-year Anti-Theft system and an 86 mo./125,000 Mi. bumper to bumper $100 deductible

Mine was was $85,931.11 with all the extras and now they are selling them here in Vegas for 100k.

The one I saw, had all mine did as far as options except it didn't have the multiflex tail. Nice to know I can drive mine and still make money selling it.

Here is the window sticker on the one I saw today and a copy of my TrueCar deal from February

curious what a 5 year anti theft system is and cost? the chevy app tells me where my truck is within a foot.

You can get a CMMG Dissent 9mm and a handful of 30 round mags for about $2k. Pair it with a Glock 17 for another $500 and you'll never be unsecured!
