Running errands this afternoon! It was so gawd damned hot, I could barely touch the paint on my truck! Truck guage showed 120F, but was probably closer to 118F, which is a new daily record.

I unloaded my motorcycle from a trip to the dealer and the clutch and brake levers were so hot I burned my hands. The gel seat wasn't much better.

Normal would be 107, which is acceptable. Once it breeches 112, its pretty damned bad.

I shot these surface temps off the vehicles and concrete. I got one 188F on the plastic trim below headlight of my truck.

I didn't check interior yesterday, but clocked some 140s last summer.
Hi AXE, maybe you need a car window ventilation panel that can prevent insects from entering while still allowing fresh air into the car.

This is our first-generation product. If you're interested, feel free to leave me a message — I still have a few free testing opportunities available.

Yep....same here in Vegas........once it goes over 110 it's not fun🥵 We broke an all time record here last year. 120 in the city and it was 5-10 degree hotter in some areas of the valley. Came out of church last year in July or August and the truck said 125, probably closer to 120 or so, but still.....

Yeah they do a bit on the news every spring and summer here... Reminding people to not leave sensitive belongings, children or pets in Parked vehicles. They put thermometers on the interior and let it sit all day in the parking lot and come out and take a reading between 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. during the hottest part of the day. I think I remember seeing temps as high as 160s🥵🥵🥵. Anyone who leaves a child or an animal inside a park truck that's not circulating air conditioning definitely needs to go to jail!!!

I got a buddy that lives in vegas, Ya'll are crazy lol. He says it's not so bad since there is no humidity. When just the heat index hits over a 100 here we get a heat advisory on the news 😅

The humidity is the worst! I've worked in Houston and its 101 and 100% humidity. Your filty wet walking from you car into a building.

I think with the drier air, it probably feels 10+ degrees lower than the temp shows.

Yep .... When I lived in the deep South (Alabama, Tennessee, Florida) after I got out of the Army, you could take a shower dry off and come outside and sit on the porch for 5 minutes and you are soaking stinking wet again! I remember when the afternoon rains would come it would feel so good while it was raining and then 5 minutes after it stopped it was absolutely miserable again 🥵

But yes.... humid or dry 110 is freaking hot no matter which way you cut the watermelon
