Is my advice! My truck is a year old and I am finally getting around to removing the chrome emblems and installing the all black ones I bought sometime last year. The tape/adhesive is a biatch and a mess to remove!

Ya have to debadge to rebadge… so no different on the removal part!

I actually thought about leaving it debadged, but not for me - too work truck looking for my tastes.

Use the eraser wheel manually,
Slow and easy.
Use a heat gun, and fishing line, more adhesive should come off with the badge
Do not put eraser wheel in a drill
It’ll be all good

GooGone and WD40 work pretty good at helping get the leftover adhesive off too.
Actually, I have and tried GooGone and also an old aerosol spray can of Turtlewax Tar and Adhesive remover… the Turtlewax worked much better than the GooGone!

So after my spray paint incident, I wonder if Mineral Spirits would work better. It took that spray paint right off and never affected the clear/paint.
