I'm referring to the light that projects forward/sideways.
I had my shop do the "bambi" mod and the always-on mirror lights with the jumpers purchased from the popular place to get them (don't recall the site). I thought my lamp had just died, and spent $100 on a new light from GM. Lo-and-behold, my light worked again all by itself; now -- it's not shining again.
Has anyone run into a "short" issue with these before? Was it in the mirror, the switch, or fuse? I don't think the jumper would make one side fail while the other side worked, but I'm not sure how they're wired/jumped. I would think the fuse would simply power both or neither. That's why I think it may be a loose wire inside the mirror.
Any help/advice if you've heard of this would be awesome! Thanks!
