Emission Delete Legal?

Good video here talking about the public comment period for the rule changes. Probably a good idea to leave a comment if you want these draconian emissions regulations to go away. There anlinknin the video description to get tonthe EPA comment website.

Looks Ike EPA is making deletes possible and manufacturers seem to be gearing up. Look at this quote from a government representative Mark Johnson Ohio in the comments section of the video below.

I think I'm gonna send my ECU to HP Tuners to unlock it and get ready for the delete.

If a reasonably priced delete kit comes out, I may do that. I plan on trading her in for a 28 in 27 regardless of whether or not all this crap is truly deleted by the manufacturers. There must be some apprehension on manufacturers parts because if the DEMS get back in in 2028, GOD forbid, then on day one, they will undo all of the great stuff that's been put in place by this administration, and is yet to come. They hate this country!

Looks like we could be 30 days out! A lot could happen in the meantime, you never know with the DC swamp!

I think if this HR4117 gets approved, then the demand for delete tunes and equipment may be high and equipment will cost a lot. I do think as more tuners get back into the game and manufacturers offer hard parts, prices will come down, but it might be a while unfortunately.

Watch Freedom Worx, latest video on this emission garbage. Filmed 2 days ago. He clearly defines all these situations. You tube., he is humorous as well and shows all the facts!

I watch his videos. He's got some good stuff.......allegedly, but not sure he's got the right perspective on the emissions changes forthcoming..........probably!

The good news is tunes are readily available and hard parts are readily available as well in Canada up to ‘23 L5P…so it should actually be quick for them to become available if it actually opens up soon. And there are some tremendous tuners up north already making tunes for everything up to ‘23 L5Ps (I run one tuners tunes on an 06 and 16…and they’re damn good, and I’ve run PPEI and others in the states as my comparison)

There is quite a few Canadian trucks that are deleted on YT. No goofy laws in Canada?

Correct - or at least they’re not regulated so there are ample tunes that exist if the door opens here. Additionally, they have all the “hard parts” readily available as well. I would assume, US companies are also providing Canadians with tuning and hard parts from the States (but have no basis for that other than assumptions) which should make availability here quick enough IF things actually change.

Sounds good for diesel owners. I like it!

MotorOps is probably the best Canadian tuner. I looked at quite a few others and it seemed like the reviews were very mixed.
Some guys swore they were the best and others said the same tune was crap. Also be careful, some are outright scams from ChiNa ripping off tunes that aren't tested and hard parts for lower cost.
