Go from stock to 305/70R18

Has anyone gone from the stock 275/70R18 tires on the ZR2 up to a 305 size and didn’t have to make modifications?

I was planning to go with the 305 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T, but they run a little bigger in width and height than most of the other 305 A/T models which will require a lot of modification. So before I drop down to a 295 Baja Boss, I wanted to consider other 305 models that are a little more narrow/shorter and wouldn’t require a lot of mod.

Just wanted to see if anyone here has run a 305 with no or little mods, and if so, what tire brand/model worked for you?

You're not gonna run a larger tire like that without mods........ trimming, leveling, lifting, spacers, etc. The combination of wider and taller works in tandem to cause interfere when turning, especially full lock.

There are a lot of threads discussing larger tires. I had to trim on my 295s with negative offset wheels. Worked great.
