Is there any way to defeat this engineering disaster that is as ignorant and unpopular as auto stop?

Every time someone sits in the passenger seat a red dot notification appears as shown in first photo. The only way to clear it is to manually select "disable lockout" as shown in the second photo.

Come on guys, we all paid a LOT of money for these trucks. As an engineer, it seems to me to be very short sighted that most every other setting can be adjusted, modified, or otherwise turned off, yet these two features are being forced on the user? I feel like I'm driving my cell phone....

Well...if there is a device to do it.
Instead of turning it off when you start the truck every time.

I have heard it can cause slight shaking at idle.
Did any of the GMT400s or 800s shake at idle?
