This is why I don’t think they could ever say it’s the oil causing a problem if you use thicker. It’s always thicker cold and runs just fine. Well supposedly lol.
Yep, did you notice any change in mpg now that you've run it a bit? I don't believe there would be any change there either.

I don’t believe there is. My lifetime has dropped a tenth of a point but I think that’s my foot lol. I highly doubt changing the oil a few 100 miles ago made a change over the 7-8000 I put on it since I got the truck.

I doubt my 12.5 average will move one way or another. A better test will be my wife's Tahoe as she drives normally.

Well, mine is better than that according to the DIC. Granted, I haven't had a need to tow or anything. My lifetime is at 15.1. That's with a heavy foot, aggressive driving and a general disdain for people in my way lol.

Well, I'm constantly getting shut down by the speed limiter and my average is only 13.3. I'm tired of getting that damn message projected on my windshield in the HUD.
