The PF 66 is not the correct filter. That has been corrected and should be the PF63. The PF63 has more holes and flows better, I think it's longer too. Search around and you'll see plenty of information on that screw up.

Mine came with a PF63 on it and it had a specific white label on the outside that said "Replace with PF63".
I assume that was added at the factory to correct the bad data GM had in the manual and tech data.
