Poll: Should GM Redesign Its Distance To Empty Gauge?

What is the issue then, do people really not fucking understand that you have fill the tank? I mean fer crissakes when the giant orange fuel pump shows up in your DIC, you might want to throw a splash of fuel in it. There's 2-3 gallons of fuel left in the tank when the jumbotron says to fuel up. It ain't that fucking hard to figure out!
Disagree. GM not letting you know how many miles you have left (below a threshold) is some nanny BS.

Just noticed the other day when the display says low only the app says low also but still tells you how many miles you have.

Its always 45 miles when the jumbotron lights come on, unless its different. The time to fuel up is before you run out, not after.

No distance to empty on these, but whent the fuel light comes on, we just fuel em up.........same as it ever was!

Before I fire up the JD tractor I check to see if I have enough to finish the job. Same as when I hop in the truck.

I suppose if you're young enough you've never driven anything without all the gadgets. So it feels different.

Hell, I remember looking down the spout and shaking the tank to see what's in there. I've even felt the sides of tanks or looked for the frost line to see how much fuel was in the tank. I just did the feel check on our bulk diesel tank 5 days ago.

I remember having to flip down the license plate to fill up... if that says anything...

I remember flipping down the plate too. Also remember driving past E and putting 5 bucks in and driving forever. The good ole days of 20 bucks being enough for gas, McDonalds for you and your girl and even a movie lol.
And collecting gas money from your friends was a viable source of income.

Yall just making me feel old today as I scroll through and say yep I remember when.
