When I grew up I wanted to be a caterpillar, but now I want to be like youreplaced my go rhino running boards with boost auto power running boards. Opted for the ones without the lights, don’t like the look of the running lights and all that… simple & clean!

That adhesive promoter works wonderful. I use it every ti.e I install something with 2 sided tape and nothing has ever csme off yet.Just installed my rear window trim pieces from @Mixander Xi. I like them and hope they hold up. I also used a 3M automotive adhesive promoter after wiping it down twice with alcohol so they should stick extremely well.

Clearly they added that ECU flash recently and since you did yours a few months ago nit wasn't done. Might not show as a recall, cause you technically had the recall done.Warranty work done today. Seat frame replaced, trim replaced, idler pulley replaced and serpentine belt replaced. Funny enough, the truck has had this metallic cold start sound since I bought it. Looked up on the internet and find a lot of folks say this happens and GM says it's normal. Apparently, the idler pulley was causing that noise and then wore out the belt to create a second one. Glad it got done though.
They almost were going to flash my ECU without telling/asking. I happen to read it today on a secondary document they put online. Called my SA and asked him not to do it. Had to explain the disabler was there and it is possible it caused bad flashes for others. He was like got it and told the tech not to do it. He said it was a recall but there are no recalls listed against my truck. What does the ECU flash accomplish?
True enough. Does anyone know what the ECU flash actually does?Clearly they added that ECU flash recently and since you did yours a few months ago nit wasn't done. Might not show as a recall, cause you technically had the recall done.
I like the subs...not a fan at all of the Amazon tire carrier.Got a couple more projects tackled this week….
The quad 8” subs was unplanned, but damn does it make the stereo sound 1,000,000x better!!
The chase rack is a universal Amazon special with tire carrier. (Rack came in 3 pieces that bolt together.) I brought it to the same shop that helped out with the bed side exhaust and they made it one piece! Also had to make it about 1” wider, to line up with the width of the bed! I sprayed it with bed liner before installing. Don’t think I’m gonna use the tire carrier the same way as intended as it would block the cameras in the third brake light….
Goal for next week, is front bumper and winch install!!!
Thought about those myself but my boys feet would tear them up lol. I’ll wait.I like the subs...not a fan at all of the Amazon tire carrier.
