Premium or Regular Fuel ?

The key to good mileage and longevity of the motor is that you gotta run it a little aggressive from the get go to get a good break in. The first time I found out the speed limiter was 98 was the first on ramp 1/2 mile from dealer. I had a few 0.001 off everything inside the motor by end of first week. She's been running loose and strong ever since!

You only get a short wimdow to get it right. You drive tight, she runs tight!
I broke in my SS sedan the same way. 200,000 miles later I sold it to my son. After another hard 40,000 miles he put an LS7 in it.

The service advisor at my dealership told me that it was ok to run regular fuel even though premium fuel is suggested. Do any of you guys run regular fuel in your truck ? If you do, does the performance suffer ? Thanks !!!
I alternate between fill ups. I just filled up with regular, so next fill up will be premium. Saves me a little money at the pump over the year.
