But statistically, most of the shit that breaks isn't covered under a powertrain warranty. Based on available data, if they offered a bumper-to-bumper out to 100K miles...excluding wear and tear items... they would have to accrue about $3900 per vehicle to do that. That would need to get built into the price. The 100K powertrain only requires about $600 accrual.

All of the ram vehicles Or Stellantis products I’ve owned have been not great. Infotainment systems are garbage. Build quality really hit or miss. Tradesmen Cummins equipped trucks at 70k plus…..they can keep them

Complete opposite experience from me! Just bought this Tradesman Dually. Have almost 500 miles on it now and no problems.

Just got the side steps, fender flares, hood protector on it. Mounting some mudflaps as we speak. Had to fab up some brakes and paint them.for the rear duals.

Probably gonna hook up a 6k trailer and go pick up 16K of concrete blocks this week and see if it needs a powertrain warranty or not.

I know one thing for sure this exhaust brake on these Cummins motors is fucking awesome. Duramax sounds like 6 year old playing Tonka trucks in the sandbox!

From my personal experience with that platform... If you hit a false neutral while decelerating then accelerating between 1st and 2nd gear....Normal. If you slow not quite to a stop and hit the pedal and nothing happens.....Normal. If you hear a loud bang on decel going into 1st gear....Normal.

Sounds like the 2017 Escalade we had. Stealerships told us whiplash was normal for people with weak necks.
