Well, I’m stranded !! 570 miles on a 2026

Started yesterday with a noticeable shutter in transmission. Started in roadway this morning and about 2 miles out it got really bad. Couldn’t make it over 50 mph. So I’m in a parking lot now waiting on roadside assistance to tow this piece of shit to dealership! 32 minute eta for tow. I’m PISSED!!!!

Relax. Every vehicle has 1000 of parts. Man made, nothing is perfect. That's why you have a warranty. I do understand being upset. My new 22 had a bad fuel injector at 800 miles. Trouble free ever since.

I get it but anything transmission related is serious. And if I have to have a new transmission at 570 they can keep this thing and put me in another one. I’m not taking back a brand new truck that had to have major work done at 570 miles

Still at dealership. Of course they couldn’t replicate issue to the extent I felt this morning. It was bad enough for me to tow it so shits weird. They did feel a transmission slip just now while driving me around. Now I’m back sitting wondering how the hell I’ll get home because they want to keep it and drive it cold in the morning. And no loaners available

My dealer mostly quit doing loaners and use Uber and Lyft. I think the exception is long term repair and then its mostly rentals.

Interesting. I had a 22 with the 6.2. Close to 50,000 miles before I traded it in. Lots of towing with our 6000lb camper. Only problem I had was a bad injector. I now drive a 25 2500 Zr2 Duromax. This truck is a beast.

I think the issue is there is no single point of failure on these vehicles making QC a nightmare. It seems like they are constantly chasing their tails with a box of band aids. @AXE has a pretty good take on the leadership around there.

How's this for leadership! Jack up the prices another 15% to cover last years failures and warranty work. They want $83k for a new 1500 ZR2..........JFC......thats 2500HD pricing! Just seen this at the dealer.

Almost $2000 for shit you didn’t ask for that they shove down your throat. Who the hell would agree to pay for air in your tires, $50 tint job (I know because I know people who tint for dealerships), clear tape on the edge of doors, and $40 lug nuts (4 of the them)?!?! I refuse to pay that shit and will walk off a lot if they don’t take it off. They have a total of $200, if that, in that $1895 bullshit. But they will “take it off” and make you think they are giving you a deal by taking $1895 off instead of taking that off msrp. You pay for that shit and you deserve to get ripped off!

I paid $67,500 for mine and it had all that shit and a tonneau cover! Nobody on this site or on the road can beat me and I regularly smoke Hellcats, McLarens, and Supras. Only thing that I back off on is a liter bikes. I also eat Jeeps and shit Raptors on the trail.
