Was in downtown Las Vegas and they are giving away this sweet Ram TRX at the Big D Casino.

I've seen plenty of the running around Phoenix, but never really looked closely at them.

They are beefy and that Bilstein suspension looks like a winner! The fit and finish of all the fender wells and plastic trim pieces is the best I've ever seen. The wheel wells are ginormous and those stock 325/65R18s look really great.

I'm in the running FTW, so I'll let you know how she rides.

The thrill is fleeting. Got out of my TRX and back into a ZR2 as fast as I could. Catastrophic brake failure at 300 miles on the TRX certainly was a contributing factor, but it was mostly the fact that the TRX is a huge theft target and reality is that you can only go 0-60 so many times in <4 seconds before the thrill is gone. The Uconnect infotainment system was terribly implemented and disconnected frequently, and the cameras were total potatoes in comparison to the ZR2. It had a great sound system though, the 19 speaker HK was top notch. I also appreciated the pano sunroof and carbon fiber trim accents. It sounded good, but I prefer the sound of the GM V8 with the Borla S-Type exhaust honestly.

Brakes are a must have! I personally think the brakes on the ZR2 are a little weak. I'm still running my Duramax and the brakes are huge on it. My wife's 2023 High Country seem to be very good. Not sure if they are the same brakes or not.

When I win this thing, I'm parking it next to the others.

No hate on the TRX here. Quite frankly, I’ll always appreciate them (driver experience issues mentioned aside) as it made Ford backpedal on their “v6 turbos are the future while piping v8 sound into the cab via speakers”…good for Ram. I admire what they’ve done across the Hellcat and SRT lineup in this day and age.

Good luck on winning that beast 🍻

I hope you Axe!! Personally I love the TRX . This was my first choice in trucks. That engine is amazing IMO. So then I thought Ram GT? At least I would have the TRX truck and not have to spend $92K. Yeah... try and find one without "E:" torque! Anyway here I am, and I like the ZR2 so far.

I think you definitely got a bad one. Personally I've had three Ram ? Dodge trucks and they have been great. I'm glad you like the ZR2.
