Throwing on my RCVs and thought I'd put up a comparo of the CV axles available right meow.

NAPA brand (I dont recommend these if you offroad, I broke 3 of them )
OEM
RCV

The RCV boots fit a little tight on the Shock reservoir. I'm upgrading here soon so I'm not too worried.

Its usually when I'm fully articulated on a hard obstacle. I try to be easy but sometimes you gotta do it for the tubes.

You figured out what the limit was, I'd expect exceeding angle up or down?

I haven't measured but I have a peak lift kit 2.5" with an extra 1" from strut spacers. It all started after the extra 1" was in (thats what she said) and swaybar removal.

Its only the driverside that's crapped out.

Gotta be down then. Did RCV give you a max angle? May be worth throwing an angle guage on it at full droop and seeing how much room you have to gain (if there's any to be had past the UCA) with new struts when you swap.

No they didn't. TBH buying from them was pretty bad but they are the only ones on the market with a better CV than stock.

I'll check angles when I get the new setup and report back.

Sucks that their CS sucks, especially for such a high end product. They've definitely got the reputation of being the toughest thing out there by a big margin, though.
