Sliders or Steps ?

Looking to get Rock sliders or steps what do you have do you like it ?

“Sliders”(they call them rocker guards) look best. Steps are most functional.

I really like my Amp power steps. They function great and tuck up out of the way. Technically they would function similar to a rock slider for protection, but if you damage one, you have to buy another set for $1700. They don't sell parts.

I have found my rock guards very useful. If you go off road a lot the rock guards are more useful. If you need a step to get I. Your truck get a step. My two cents.

I recently got back from Moab and the sliders saved my butt a few times. I had the high clearance off raod steps from GM but they do flex into the body when you put the weight of the truck on them. Especially at the end right behind the front wheels. The GM sliders are heavy stainless ( about 100lbs each ) and easily support the weight of the truck.
