New to the forum. I recently purchased a 2026 Silverado 2500HD ZR2 in March, and I love this truck. But one thing that I am frustrated with is not having the Surround vision recording icon on my infotainment screen. With all the technology in this truck and all the cameras I'm very disappointed with GM not having this already installed. I've looked into this issue online and people talk about buying a flash drive so the system will work. So, I bought 128 gig flash drive and reformatted to FAT32 and still nothing. I reached out to GM online and the rep wasn't helpful at all. I've read that I might have to take the truck into the dealership and have them download an update to the infotainment system, but this could take up to 4 hours from what I have read. Who has time to take their pickup into a dealership and have it sit there all day and then come back for it. STUPID!!

So, has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it?
Thanks

Here's a pic of the truck for all you pic of

lovers out there. I barley got the truck into my garage.

Well, the software on these Global B architecture trucks has proven to be very finicky a d unforgiving when trying to run non GM applications and accessories.

It is true, that when people have had GM has do full system deletes and reinstall it takes a long time. Some systems even fail or fry during the process.

You might contact companies like HP Tuners and see if they have any way to adress this through their system hacks, which are expensive.
