Fucking great, no dipstick needed cause GM can build great motors, develop precision software with no glitches, and procure top tier electronics from Bangladesh to ensure your oil is just fine!

I sure hope they are able to turn things around with this generation but I just don’t see some of the decisions will resonate with the truck community at large - a passenger screen seems like a solution in search of a problem. I genuinely use the glove box storage available today. I also use the rear seat storage which I also read is gone. The no dipstick seems like they forgot who their market really is or should be (at least until they really have their electronics dialed in). Should be interesting to follow along if nothing else.

I had to dive into my glove box for some spare ear plugs today cause I forgot my electronic ear pro when I went to the shooting range. Also found a Buck 110 knife and Leatherman scissors that I forgot I stashed there. I like my storage compartments for all the little essentials.

LOL they went to a digital so you didnt know you were low on oil from the engine burning it. We all know how accurate their sensors are. That way, they can blame you when the engine locks up.

BMW has no dip stick either. My son has a 2017 Mini that doesnt have one. Its the weirdest thing. Can't see or smell the oil. Just dumb. About as dumb as having to do all kinds of weird shit and crawl under the truck to check the transmission fluid. Put the $1 stick back and make it easy again.

Sorry bro - some of us want the nice interior and updated info/entertainment systems. Whether they work correctly will always be an issue. But if you want a strict work truck, buy a work truck

I've got three of them with the top of the line trim and the Ram work truck I have with has more comfortable seating with cloth interior. Also the simple electronics aren't glitchy and unreliable. There's nothing new or impressive here, just some slight appearance changes and more unreliable bullshit.

Truck looks good with exterior styling and features. I like the front jounce on the Multmatic suspension. I don't think the quad exhaust looks too bad, and I don't usually like cut out bumpers for the exhaust outlet on trucks.

As usual, the comments did not disappoint. Owners are roasting GM with the last 6 years of bullshit products and manufacturing blunders.

They did increase fuel tank and DEF tank size - that’s a big plus having had both the 6.2 and 3.0.
