Thoughts on new wheels and tires or go back to stock

i was almost thinking the same thing after i put the new ones on, ride is pretty similar tho just feel like it looks weird with less tire on a truck

I am biased as I’m eyeing 17’s for my truck.

what is your setup with the stock wheels? What size tires & do you have spacers? That is the look I am trying to go with my white ZR2

It didn't clear because of the offset. They stick out.

If you had wheels that had factory offset or very close to it, it'd clear no problem.

^^^^ I agree ^^^^. I have 2 inch spacers on my stock wheels with 33x12.50r18 tires and they rub slightly at full lock only in reverse. Going forward they are fine, with no rubbing at all. If it wasn't for the spacers, creating an offset, they would not rub at all, forward or in reverse.

Thank you. Have a set of fender flares that I haven't installed yet cause they are not ZR2 specific and need modified. Need fender flares cause the tires throw rocks all over the lower side of the truck and sometimes put some nice sized nicks in the cheap ass paint that they put on these trucks.

Good to know. I'm keeping the stock tires and wheels for now, so hopefully they'll be flush and not kick up too much.

Well, it doesn't help that I have such an aggressive tire. They ride great, but they pick up a lot of rocks.
