Looks good, how much clearance on the UCAs at full lock?Put 37x12.50 bfg KO'3 on.
Hood still needs some more finessing but it’s way better than what it was! The driver side sat about 1/4 + high and the passenger was also high but not as bad. Slotted out where the hinges attach to the truck for more adjustment.Back it at with the guys at Alpha Off Road, finally got my front bumper widened to line up with my wide body!! I’ve been waiting to have that void filled!!! LMAO!!!
What else have I done recently?!?! Out with all the vinyl, gold badges, emblems, bedside stripe. Did the bedside stripe in red (paint) and went back to factory black and red badges. Also did the rear and partial bed sides in satin black paint! I also painted my carbon fiber wide body front fenders GM factory black. Still need to wet sand some runs and orange peel when I have the time…
Future projects: some more painting to do on the bedsides and hood. Gonna have much less carbon exposed rather than full panels for a more cohesive look.
Thinking Christmas to myself will be a set of 37” Nitto Recon Grapplers.
Plenty of room, ill try and get a picture when its light.out and not snowingLooks good, how much clearance on the UCAs at full lock?
I recommend spraying them with a coat of UV clear coat.Added a set of DV8 shackles to the AEV bumper. Nice little splash of red!

Apologies for your Spaghetti-O's good sirePlease don’t say things like that when I’m eating soup, holy hell![]()
Glad someone notices, sheeeeeshYou my friend, are the definition of a gentleman.
I like them like that. Probably easier to keep clean with gloss finish. But will also show scratches. I paint matched a set once and if ai recall, paid about $600.Finally put fender flares on my 1500 ZR2. They don't make fender flares specifically for the ZR2 so I had to get fender flares for a regular Silverado and custom cut and fit the front fender flares because of the different front fenders and bumper that are on the ZR2. What do you all think? Should I leave them flat black or paint them gloss black to match the truck?

Thanks. I think I like them the way they are too. These were an inexpensive set cause I knew I had to cut and fit them and didn't wanna waste $500-$600 if it didn't work out right. With these, if I ruined the set cutting them I would've only been out $150. But it worked out for the best. Turned out pretty well. Plus, I had to do something. Either fender flares or mud guards cause with the 2" wheel spacers and mud tires the sides of my truck was getting beat to hell.I like them like that. Probably easier to keep clean with gloss finish.
