What have you done to your Silverado ZR2 this week? 🛠️

We're you having issues or just getting ahead of it?
At 16k miles my trans locked up repeatedly and started extreme hard shifts. Valve body grenaded. After 2 months of waiting I bitched to the dealer and asked for a new trans. A week later I had a new trans. And back on the road. I decided then and there I was going to upgrade with a complete valve body from next gen. I ran the new trans for 5k miles before I swapped out the valve body. Clean trans fluid and filter so everything seems good. Shifting is the same but definitely puts more torque to the ground.

Did you happen to order the valve body from GM?

Excellent! Sounds like a good plan!

I saw someone with 7k miles in 2 months EARLY in this thread, so I won't talk about my 2k.. I'll just sit in my corner....

As far as what I have so far done in the one month I have owned my 2024 Silverado 1500 ZR2 Bison is I added a front and read dash cam, added the auto stop eliminator, and changed both my reverse and bed lights for brighter LEDs.

And the more I read through the threads I realize..... I'm gonna be broke for a while huh?

I DO have a question... I see a lot of cool puddle lights... But what I would REALLY like to have is a door jam that lights up with the ZR2 logo. I keep seeing "wireless" ones.... And... They just don't slap... Is that a thing of the past (the wired ones that is). I know, vain, but I'd rather look at that as I get in vs puddle lights. At least for now.
