What have you done to your Silverado ZR2 this week? šŸ› ļø

Exactly! šŸ˜‚

WeatherTechs are probably the least ugly available but it’s still a mudflap hanging down. It’s a bit ironic that in keeping the truck clean it detracts from the clean lines of the truck. Or at least they do to me.
I have them too and think they look nice. To me, those that buy those crazy expensive flat mud flaps (can't recall the name) are the ugliest mud flaps I've ever seen and I would never put them on any truck. Reminds me of the 70's and 80's mud flaps. To each their own...it's nice to have choices.

Same here! The look of mud flaps is meh but the protection they offer is much appreciated
Yeah I went several years w/o them on my Colorado ZR2. Driving through a puddle would paint the side of the truck like I’d been off roading. Worst part was it got the door handles all grimy.

When I finally put them on I was like ā€œthis should’ve been my first mod, not my last!ā€ LOL

will this has been over the past month but loved to share since i got inspired here;

1-M312 17ā€ methods painted black (originally gold on my previous 19 RST) wrapped with 305/70
2-Half matte front , back bumpers dip and fender flares to complete the profile
3- tonneau like tri-fold bed cover
4- Full xpell ppf (a haunted pigeon convinced me)
5- RC e-boards

Work continues on the bandit ZR2!!!
šŸ‘šŸ¤£šŸ¤™

Got the hood bulge wrapped in a matte/satin black with gold accent and black 6.2L badges!!

For my DIY brothers or those willing to take a try at vinyl it was relatively easy, as the bulge is mostly a big flat square.
I used matte black vivid vinyl from Amazon. IMO they have good stuff I’ve used it in the past to wrap motorcycles, and other toys….

Did you remove the hood bulge to wrap it?

That looks really good, do they just slide on over the existing studs or are they the kind that have a separate stud?

Slide on, and plenty of threads for the nuts to grab.

I bought from Bora. 6x139.7 Bolt Pattern, 77.8 Hub. Aluminum, BORA Black, Thickness=.5in

How much bite you getting on those threads after wheel is installed? Looks like not a lot of thread would be left. Be cautious with this and retorque the lugs often.

Yes! Re torque them every few weeks!
Make sure to do them right or they can be a headache!

Plenty of bite, checked torque and they're good to go.

I am way more comfortable with a well-built minor spacer (they're custom machined, not universal spacers) than putting in thick spacers that require you to bolt them on, then bolt the wheels on. Can't check torque of the spacer bolts every once in a while unless you have to take the wheel off.

Yeah, but your getting a full nut on a traditional spacer. The trade off overall is less leverage on hub with larger spacer.

Also I know a lot of corporate tire shops won't mount up wheels with those kind of spacers. Not a concern if you do your own work.
