Well it's been a two year wait but I finally got the truck I want. I went from a gen one Raptor to the Silverado.
Now it's time to put on the goodies...
First the 20inch x 9.5 Vossen and the GM big brake kit. I sell Stainless works and Icon suspension systems and they will be next.
Stay tuned and thanks for the invite.
Happy Trails

GM big brake kit p/n 85138043 is a Brembo
6 piston caliper front. For Silverado 1500
2019 -2023 . It requires a 20 inch rim min.
And not all 20 inch rims will work.
Vossen makes custom 20 inch forged rims just for this application.
I forgot the p/n for the rear..but you can Google it. Basically it's Corvette brake for your truck .

GM doesn't offer because they only offer 18 inch wheel option on 5he ZR 2
My biz is hi performance that's how I know.

The cost for front and rear is a little over 6k
Not counting installation.

Congrats! I’m curious since you went from a Gen 1 Raptor to the ZR2 anything you miss from the Raptor. I had a Gen1 back in 2017 and then went on to a Gen2 but now have a ‘23 ZR2. In many ways it reminds me of the Gen1 but I’ve forgotten many of the traits that I probably didn’t like about the Gen1. Definitely like the big V8.

My Gen 1 was a custom R Raptor it was number 29 of 100 built. It cost me 105k in 2010.. She was delivered to my business.
It had 508hp 528 lbs tq to the wheels.
It had all the stuff you couldn't get with the stock Gen 1.
I changed the shocks to ICons and it had headers from the factory with a 95 mm tb
I changed out the exhaust to Stainless Works with hi flow cats and had Mike at 5 star tune it..
No comparison!
I miss it greatly!
I build custom Hi performance.
I race GM and just wanted a change .
I've recamed many 6.2 GM's and like the power gains with the LS build
My goal is to do the same with this one.
I have Stainless Works System along with a cam ,roller lifter and roller rockers as well
As Springs,retainers and locks.
For gears I'm putting in 3:73:1 for 35 inch Toyo open country tires.
And yes full ICON shock system
So I've just started this journey.
Stay Tuned!
