Anti theft devices Ravelco or IGLA ?????

thanks!! let’s say the throttle is locked and they remove the cable that connects to the throttle and they plug back in the OEM connector to the throttle. Will it unlock it or does the memory stay saved to the computer?
If they remove the evcX controller, the part that plugs into the throttle pedal and plug the stock connector back in I’m almost positive the throttle would respond like stock. But they’d have to know where to look. Also if the battery isn’t disconnected during installation and uninstalling the truck WILL throw codes and could cause drive ability issues.

I see. So you hide your cable that connects to the controller each time you disconnect the controller and leave the truck? Ah good to know thanks for the heads up with the installation. Each time you disconnect the controller you need to disconnect the battery too?

Once installed you don’t need the cable or controller box. The wire harness with its inline controller is Bluetooth. Once paired you can control the throttle from your phone.

You only need to disconnect the battery when you first install the harness that goes between the throttle and factory harness. Or if you decide to remove everything. The controller itself can be plugged in or unplugged without any issues or battery disconnection

Just to clarify, the evcX comes with a control box, wire harness that plugs in between the throttle and the throttle harness and a cable to connect the throttle box to the controller.

It might help to go to the Ultimate9 website and look at the instructions to get a clearer understanding of things.

I use the throttle lock on the Ultimate9 throttle controller. They can start it, but they’ll get no throttle response. Also use a steering wheel club. Living a few minutes from the Mexico border, these things get stolen all the time.
Which steering wheel club do you use?

Got it thanks for the explanation! Have you had any issues with theft or signs of attempted theft after you installed the evcX?

100%. If the unit is removed and the stock connect is plugged back into the throttle, it is back to stock. As was stated, a thief would have to know what to do to bypass the U9 security.

Thankfully no. I live about 15 miles from the southern border. Vehicle theft here is very high.
That’s really amazing, glad you haven’t especially being that close to the border! Well I appreciate all your help!
