Yep, did you notice any change in mpg now that you've run it a bit? I don't believe there would be any change there either.

I don’t believe there is. My lifetime has dropped a tenth of a point but I think that’s my foot lol. I highly doubt changing the oil a few 100 miles ago made a change over the 7-8000 I put on it since I got the truck.

I doubt my 12.5 average will move one way or another. A better test will be my wife's Tahoe as she drives normally.

I got rid of mine last Friday! Got offers for trade in from 56,000 - 59,000 This ZR2 1500 MSRP was $75,950 with 8,500 miles.
I got an average of about 18-19 mpg using Premium gas mostly Highway (.40-45 Cents higher gas price)
Traded it in on a Chevy 2500 HD with 6.6 gas.
I will miss the color, (Slate Gray) and some of the bells and whistles. I did not get on a LT Trim level. But MSRP was $9,000 cheaper
Hopefully I can go in to retirement this year, and travel with not worrying about will I make it back home or to my destination.

So you can trade it in. Even looked at Ford and they offered about the same for a trade in.
one month ago trade in was valued at 57,776 - 62,777

I had to ask myself who is going to want to buy one that does not get a new motor?

Should've got a 2500 Bison then if that's your goal. I get a little over 9 making short runs near the house but I'm not easy on it either.

Yeah, the short runs are the worst. You can watch your trip summary and it won't get to 10 + mpg unless you run several miles. I personally think their software gives you a false reading unless you travel 15 ish miles.

Yes GM screwed up, but if they're going to stand behind it with the warranty that's supposedly coming who gives a FF. WTF do you want them to do pay for your meds and counseling from the stress they caused?

Are you fucking serious? They are going to stand behind it? You have lost your damn mind. If they were going to stand behind it they would have done that starting in 2021 or before when they knew this was an issue. The only thing they are standing behind is their lawyers and bottom line. They are going to make it appear that they have fixed the issue by throwing an oil related band aid on it and hopes the issues slow down. If it slows down and they last longer....mission fucking accomplished. I am not going to say Im not going to enjoy my truck. It will blow or go. But I have no damn delusions that GM is being a stand up company concerning all this.
