I pulled another Rotella T6 oil sample at 15k miles and sent it to Blackstone for analysis. Looks like it's pretty well worn in and no surprises. I had a lot of tow miles (some at 12k lbs and many at 7k lbs) and higher speed highway travel going hunting and to the sand dunes.
I used Mobil 1 15W40 Full Synthetic oil this time. Might send in another sample at 20k just for comparison.
Another thing they note in the report is good filtration. I know a lot of people are concerned about filtering capacity of this smaller PF63 filtering, but it seems like it works well at 5k intetvals. I've cut three of them open and this last one barely had a couple specs of silver flakes visible.
