Factory Tube Assist Steps vs. AMP PowerStep Xtremes

I am looking to swap out my factory assist steps for the AMP PowerStep Xtreme but trying to find a pic of exactly how much lower they drop from the factory ones. My wife feels that the ones that came on the truck (see pic) are too high and it is too hard to get in and out. I have seen pics and it looks like the AMP ones are a considerable amount lower but want to make sure it is worth it before making that investment. Has anyone measured the difference or have before and after pics? Thanks!!
