Folding mirrors during winter months

Hey just a quick question for those of you north of TN. I’ve got my mirrors set to auto retract whenever I lock the truck. Should I turn this off during the winter so that I don’t risk breaking something if it gets too cold I.e. ice buildup etc?

I don't use that feature but I would worry doing so..

I would disable it for sure.
